After an online search I decided I didn't want to wait for any fabric to get to me so I went to JoAnn's this afternoon. There was some wandering and lots of fabric touching but amidst all the others I found it.

I had dreams of a floral fabric for my May wedding guest dress and I think this is it:
Hubs says it's a little crazy but maybe that's why I am so drawn to it. He will be wearing a dark bright blue suit, I know that sounds weird but when you see what color his suit is it makes sense! The same dark blue that's in this print. I had my eye on a few different kinds of fabrics but they were either too floral/little girl or solid and I ALWAYS go solid. I have enough time that if I don't like it I can make or even buy something else.
Now the pattern I chose was just a chance encounter. The simplicity patterns were $1 and I was looking through the book when this one jumped out at me:
I love the top of the second dress and the detail in the bodice I plan on making it short but I am loving the long one. I know I said fit and flare but I am scared that if I put a big skirt on it the dress will look too casual and strange next to Hubs schmancy suit. We'll see once the bodice is made how it's looking.
